Hello!! My name is Alexandra (Allie) Kangas. I'm 26 years old and I've been building my life around theatre for as long as I can remember. I fell in love with theatre through performing, as many do, but little did I know that I would end up making a career out of it. There's seriously never been something more rewarding. 

     During high school and undergrad I came to appreciate every single aspect of theatre, from performance to costumes to management to scenic and to everything else in between. I didn't really know what I wanted to do, but I just knew I was in love with this beautiful collaborative art form. 

     Hair, wigs, and makeup was my main drive and focus in my senior year of undergrad. I then applied for a costume intern position at a theatre in the midwest. My love for costumes grew from there and I was also able to continue pursuing hair, wigs, and makeup. So, here I am, ready to take on the theatre world, one stitch, brush stroke, and braid at a time.
