A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE

TO LOVE AND MURDER

Date: May 2019
Organization: Eau Claire Children's Theatre
City: Eau Claire, WI
Role(s): Assistant Costume Designer
            Stitcher
            Hair and Makeup Designer
            Wardrobe Assistant

This was the first show I worked on as one of two lead costumers. I also had the lovely honor of playing Sibella in it, so my co-costumer was the lead designer for this show. In my opinion, this show showcases some of my best construction work. I had a few random projects here and there for this show, but my main tasks were my own costumes funnily enough. Unfortunately, I only have a few pictures of the garments that I constructed and worked on, but the ones pictured are the ones of most significance.      Something I will say, wealthy Edwardian era has to be my absolute favorite era to recreate in costumes. It's so subtle yet so extravagant at the same time. Though I really enjoy recreating garments from ANY era, Edwardian takes the cake every time.
